The application takes the user’s photograph and transforms it into a mosaic using other photos. EasyMoza recommends that users upload a minimum of 250 photos to create a full looking mosaic, however the application allows up to 3,000 photographs to be uploaded and added to the image. To speed things along, the application allows users to add up to 500 individual photographs at a time. EasyMoza also provides users with code that can be used to embed the application on their website or blog. A standard and small size embedded version is available.

The mosaic creation tools are very neat and clean, giving the user one step at a time so they can quickly figure out how to use Easy Mosaic. Four flag buttons in the top, right hand corner of the page allow the user to toggle between English, German and Spanish languages.

Users can begin by clicking the blue “Create photo mosaic” button near the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. The website states that users are not required to create an account to make a mosaic. After clicking the button, the user is asked to upload a photo. The next step asks the user to upload additional photos. A settings button at the bottom of the form brings up a number of tools that allow the user to select mosaic size, number of ells, tile borders, mirror borders, color adjustments and distance between images.

What does it cost to use the application?

If the user would like to save their mosaic or access a high resolution version of it, they can click on the “Webshop” button (near the “Create photo mosaic” button). The user must purchase a payment code which can be entered to save their mosaic. One payment code costs approximately $6. The user is asked to provide their name, country location, how many codes they would like to purchase and Paypal information.

EasyMoza is a helpful tool for anyone who would like to build an attractive photo mosaic. The application is very easy to use, although some might find it a little expensive for a single mosaic. The up side is that for the price, the user can upload as many as 3,000 photos to include in their finished mosaic.
